No. Clino isn't a staffing or cleaning agency. You've already found someone. Clino guides you through employing them correctly: employment contract, payroll, insurance and AHV registration. Who you hire is entirely up to you.

In almost every case: yes. In Switzerland, every private employer is legally required to register domestic workers with the AHV (social insurance) and insure them against accidents. (Merkblatt 2.06) There is one small exception: people under 25 who earn less than CHF 750 per year. Clino checks this automatically during the process. Through the simplified procedure with VAVplus, the mandatory accident insurance (UVG) can be insured on request. You opt in when you register (in cantons that offer VAVplus). Without registration, the Ersatzkasse UVG pays and charges you as the employer substitute premiums (Art. 95 UVG).
