- Includes «Ménage emploi», a genuinely free household-staff matching service. Clino does not offer that.

Honestly: Chèque service is an established reference, not a rival. For very small hourly volumes the commission can be cheap, and accident and sick-pay premiums are included. It grows with the wage, up to CHF 2,200 a year, while Clino stays flat.
What the «CTT-EDom» requires in Geneva
The standard employment contract for domestic work («CTT-EDom», rsGE J 1 50.03) applies to every private household in Geneva. The minimum wages are mandatory; the other rules apply unless the contract is more favourable.

Hours, supplements, vacation, notice
- Full time = 45 hours per week (art. 5).
- Night work 20:00 to 07:00: 125% of the minimum wage, i.e. +25% (art. 10 para. 1bis).
- Sundays and public holidays: +50% (art. 7).
- The employer keeps a register of working and rest time. Without one, the employee's own record is proof (art. 10bis).
- Vacation: 4 weeks; 5 weeks under 20, from the 21st year of service or from 50 with 5 years of service (art. 21).
- 1 month's probation with 7 days' notice, then 1, 2 and 3 months by year of service (art. 22 and 23).
Au pairs («CTT-TPMaj», rsGE J 1 50.12): at most 30 hours per week, no overtime, 4 hours of language course, at least CHF 3'196.70 per month over 12 months.
The contract prints Geneva's probation, notice periods and night supplement. The payslip shows overtime, night and Sunday supplements line by line. The hours register is logged by the employee, approved by you and downloaded monthly as a PDF with signature lines.

What is the FAK rate in the Canton of Geneva?
The family allowance contribution (FAK) is 2.372% of gross wages in the Canton of Geneva, paid solely by the employer. Clino calculates this automatically.
What minimum wage applies to a cleaner in Geneva?

Under the simplified procedure you settle AHV/IV/EO, unemployment insurance and a 5 % withholding tax once a year through the compensation office (OCAS Genève). It is optional and applies up to CHF 22'680 of annual wage per person. Accident insurance (UVG) is only included if you choose the plus option when you register. Otherwise you take it out yourself with an insurer.
What happens if I don't register my cleaner in Geneva?
An employer who does not join a compensation office and settle the wages commits an offence under the AHV Act: a monetary penalty of up to 180 daily units (Art. 87 AHVG). On top come the social insurance contributions, as a rule back-dated up to 5 years.
