SV Glarus uses the federal form 318.147. You fill it in online. At the end, SV Glarus must be selected as the recipient.

- Accident insurance: SV Glarus offers the simplified procedure plus. You must choose it explicitly when you register.

On CHF 10,000 annual wage that is about CHF 31.80 a year.
If you file online: Filing the annual wage declaration electronically brings the administrative fee down from 3.00% to 2.80% of the AHV/IV/EO contributions. The fund can put the full rate back, for instance after a reminder procedure, so the reduced rate is not an entitlement.

The administration fee is calculated as a percentage of the AHV/IV/EO contributions, not as a percentage of the wage. Filing electronically earns a reduction. After a reminder procedure, or if the declaration is incomplete or incorrect, the office can go back to charging the full rate.

What is the simplified procedure (VAV) in Glarus?
Under the simplified procedure you settle AHV/IV/EO, unemployment insurance and a 5 % withholding tax once a year through the compensation office (SV Glarus). It is optional and applies up to CHF 22'680 of annual wage per person. Accident insurance (UVG) is only included if you choose the plus option when you register. Otherwise you take it out yourself with an insurer.
What happens if I don't register my cleaner in Glarus?
An employer who does not join a compensation office and settle the wages commits an offence under the AHV Act: a monetary penalty of up to 180 daily units (Art. 87 AHVG). On top come the social insurance contributions, as a rule back-dated up to 5 years.
