Swiss household employment law in English

Switzerland publishes its laws in German, French and Italian. Many people who employ a cleaner, a nanny or a carer at home, or who do this work, read English more easily. Here are the rules that apply to them in English, article by article, next to the binding original.

Unofficial translations. They are provided for information purposes only, are not certified and have no legal force. Only the versions published on Fedlex (federal law) or in the cantonal collections are legally binding.
