What is Clino?
Clino is an online platform that automates payslips, employment contracts and social insurance declarations for household employers. For CHF 19.90 per month, you handle everything correctly and legally — without paperwork.
Who is Clino for?
For anyone in Switzerland who employs domestic staff: cleaners, nannies, gardeners, carers and more. Whether once a week or daily — Clino adapts.
Do I really have to register my cleaner?
Yes, from the very first franc. AHV registration is mandatory for all household employees (AHVG Art. 12, AHVV Art. 34d). There is no minimum threshold for households.
What happens if I don't register?
Fines up to CHF 10'000, personal liability for accidents and no insurance cover for your employees. The risks are real — and avoidable.

How much does Clino cost?
CHF 19.90 per month. Fixed price. The first month is free. No setup fee, no annual fee.
Why is Clino cheaper than Quitt?
We focus exclusively on the simplified billing procedure. This eliminates complex Swissdec integrations and the overhead of the standard procedure. The savings are passed on to you.
Are there hidden costs?
No. The price includes everything: payslips, employment contract, annual report, registration guide and management of multiple employees.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes. No annual contract, no minimum term. You can cancel your subscription at the end of any month and export your data.
How it works
How long does registration take?
5 minutes online. After that, you need to register with your cantonal compensation office — we guide you step by step, specifically for your canton.
Does Clino handle AHV registration for me?
No. You register yourself at the compensation office. Clino creates a detailed guide for your canton so you know exactly what to do.
What is the simplified procedure?
A simplified billing procedure with a flat 5% withholding tax, available for household employees earning up to CHF 22'680 per year. Ideal for most cleaning positions.
What if my cleaner earns more than CHF 22'680?
Then the standard billing procedure applies. Clino currently only supports the simplified procedure. For the standard procedure, we recommend Quitt.

What benefits do I get as a cleaner?
AHV pension contributions, accident insurance (UVG), monthly payslips as proof of income and all documents in your language.
Do I need an account?
No. You receive a personal link to view all your payslips. No login required.
What is the ambassador programme?
Share your referral link with employers and earn CHF 10 per registration. From 3 referrals, you receive ambassador status with additional benefits.
Security & Data Protection
Where is my data stored?
In Switzerland: the database runs on Supabase in the Zurich region. AHV numbers are stored with field-level encryption and shown only masked in the interface; all data is transferred exclusively over TLS. Strict access control means every employer sees only their own data (row-level security plus server-side checks). Payment data is handled exclusively by Stripe (PCI DSS) — Clino never stores card details. Our security measures are independently audited, most recently in a comprehensive review in June 2026.
Is my data shared with authorities?
No. We do not share data with tax authorities or immigration authorities.
Can I export my data?
Yes. A full JSON export is available at any time from the dashboard.
