How to register

With AK Solothurn you register using a PDF form: fill it in, sign it and send it by post.

Withholding-tax statement instead of salary certificate
It is printed on the AKSO registration form itself: under the simplified procedure and under VaVplus, employees receive a «Quellensteuernachweis» (withholding-tax statement) and no salary certificate has to be issued. Only under the ordinary procedure do you issue a salary certificate yourself at year end.

What you fill in yourself
Even when Clino pre-fills the form, a few entries stay with you: your own AHV number, your date of birth and sex, your employee's sex, the yes/no question about other paid work abroad, and place, date and signature. The signature box also accepts typed text on screen: sign by hand on the printout anyway.

New administration fee rates from 2027
AKSO has announced new administration fee rates from 1 January 2027. For employers with a small payroll, households included, the rate goes up, and there will be a single rate whatever the filing channel. Nothing changes for 2026.
