How to register

SV Glarus uses the federal form 318.147. You fill it in online. At the end, SV Glarus must be selected as the recipient.

What the office costs

Admin fee: 3 % of the AHV/IV/EO contributions.

On CHF 10,000 annual wage that is about CHF 31.80 a year.

If you file online: Filing the annual wage declaration electronically brings the administrative fee down from 3.00% to 2.80% of the AHV/IV/EO contributions. The fund can put the full rate back, for instance after a reminder procedure, so the reduced rate is not an entitlement.

Family allowance contribution: 1.4 % of the wage, paid by you as the employer.
Child allowance: CHF 215 per child and month.

During the year

You report wages through the AHVeasy portal or by post.
Annual declaration: by 30 January for the previous year. The office then invoices the contributions.

E-filing discount, with a condition
The administration fee is calculated as a percentage of the AHV/IV/EO contributions, not as a percentage of the wage. Filing electronically earns a reduction. After a reminder procedure, or if the declaration is incomplete or incorrect, the office can go back to charging the full rate.
