How much does household help earn in Switzerland?▾
The legal minimum (NAV Hauswirtschaft 2026) is CHF 20.35 to 24.55/h; Geneva is CHF 24.59 and Basel-Stadt 22.20. In practice private households often pay CHF 27–35/h, highest in Zurich and Zug.
Do I have to be declared — and what's in it for me?▾
