What stays, what changes
Stays: the employment
Your employee's contract, wage and AHV number stay the same. The switch only changes who prepares the admin.
Stays: the compensation office
Your registration with the compensation office continues. We show you whether and what to report there.
Changes: payroll
From the takeover month, Clino prepares payslips, the annual summary and the salary certificate. Prepared by us, confirmed by you.
Review: insurance
Existing accident insurance policies can often continue. Your switch plan shows what you can keep and where a new policy is cheaper.
The best timing
Many providers bill yearly. The easiest moment to switch is therefore just before your renewal, often December or January. Mid-year works too: with Clino you pay monthly and we plan the transition so no payroll period is counted twice or missed. Tell us in the form when your plan renews and we will suggest the best date.

Do I have to re-register my household help with the AHV?
No. The registration with the compensation office belongs to you as the employer, not to the software provider. It simply continues when you switch. If your current solution managed something in your name, the switch plan shows you exactly what to report to the office.
What happens with the current year?
Clino takes over from the agreed month. Payslips before that stay with the old provider or with you. For the annual declaration to the compensation office we combine both parts into one summary you can submit.
Does the switch service cost anything?
No. The switch plan and the support are free. You only pay the normal Clino subscription of CHF 19.90 per month once you actively run payroll.
Does my household help have to do anything?
Almost nothing. Wage, contract and insurance cover stay the same. What is new: she receives her payslip from Clino, in her language if she prefers.
