- The AAS are part of the regional social services. Small branch counters (antennes) open only one to three days a week.
- In the Riviera region the counters open in the afternoon only, in the Aigle-Bex region in the morning only. By phone you reach them at the other time of day.
- Chèques-emploi (EPER) is an alternative for households in Vaud: the service settles the social contributions for you and replaces your own registration with the fund.

What every branch office must do
Under federal law, every municipal branch office gives information, hands out the forms, receives mail and forwards it to the compensation fund, and helps record everyone who owes contributions. The canton can give it further tasks.
Art. 116 AHVV ↗Clino prepares the documents, you submit them.
Employment contract, payslips and the pre-filled registration for the Caisse cantonale vaudoise de compensation AVS. You submit it online or take the paper to the branch office.
