What to have ready for the registration
- Your own AHV number (on your health insurance card) and your date of birth
- Since when you employ someone and the estimated wage
- An IBAN for refunds
- Whether you already have accident insurance. If not, choose accident insurance through the compensation fund in the form (simplified procedure plus)
The federal form asks nothing about the employee. Those details come with the wage report.

The registration must reach the Ausgleichskasse des Kantons Bern within 30 days of the first working day. After that, you report the previous year's wages every year by 30 January.
